Adult Training Program
Making a Difference Together
It takes everyone in our community to end domestic violence—from the courthouse to the schoolhouse, from corporations to clinicians. When we make a difference, it is together. Our Adult Training program focuses on training adults in all sectors on what domestic violence is, how to recognize warning signs, and how to respond as an individual or as a business. We have trainings tailored for different communities and on different subjects related to domestic violence.
How Adult Training from DVPN Works:
- We have trainings that cover everything from the basics to handling DV in the workplace to how to building healthy boundaries and understanding childhood trauma. For more depth information on what trainings are available, reach out to Olivia Cosgray, Advocacy and Education Manager at olivia@dvpnindy.org
- Fill out our Request Training form, and we will connect with you as soon as possible.
- We can also work with your agency/organization to put together a training series to cover multiple topics over multiple sessions. We have done this for agencies such as Edna Martin Christian Center and The Villages of Indiana!
Additional Opportunities
We also host an annual virtual Community Training Series which is open to anyone to attend, whether in Marion County Indiana or from afar! This is usually a 4 session series covering topics from DV101 to Healthy Boundaries in a Workplace. Contact olivia@dvpnindy.org to be added to the list to learn when this series will be happening!
